Permata Group has been an active member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) since 2006, underscoring our commitment to globally recognized sustainable palm oil standards. Through strict adherence to the RSPO Principles and Criteria (P&C) and the Supply Chain Certification Standard (SCCS), we ensure that our palm oil production and processing operations across our estates and mills meet RSPO requirements. These include implementing a zero-deforestation approach, protecting High Conservation Value (HCV) and High Carbon Stock (HCS) areas, safeguarding the environment and biodiversity, upholding fair and safe labor practices, respecting the rights of Indigenous Peoples and local communities through the principle of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), and fostering meaningful stakeholder and community engagement throughout our operations. We also actively participate in RSPO working groups to contribute to the development of industry sustainability standards and implementation tools that support the sector's sustainability objectives.

Permata Group participates in the Palm Oil Collaboration Group (POCG), a multi-stakeholder initiative that brings together companies across the palm oil supply chain to accelerate the implementation of No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation (NDPE) commitments. Through active involvement in POCG working groups — such as the NDPE Implementation Reporting Framework (NDPE IRF) — we collaborate with industry peers to tackle complex supply chain challenges. This includes expanding third-party supplier engagement, improving traceability to plantation, and advancing social issues.

As a member of GAPKI (Indonesian Palm Oil Association), Permata Group actively collaborates with national industry leaders to promote sustainable agricultural practices, economic growth, and regulatory alignment across the Indonesian palm oil sector. GAPKI serves as a vital platform for dialogue between industry players, government bodies, and local communities to drive responsible palm oil management. Through our participation in GAPKI, we support national sustainability initiatives, including alignment with the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) standards. This collaboration helps shape balanced industry policies, fosters local economic development, and strengthens Indonesia's position as a leader in sustainable global palm oil production.

Permata Group's membership in APOLIN reflects our dedication to sustainable downstream processing and value-added manufacturing. As part of Indonesia's oleochemical sector, we work alongside industry peers to implement best practices in green chemistry, resource efficiency, and chemical safety across refining and manufacturing facilities.

Through our membership in APROBI, Permata Group actively supports Indonesia's transition toward renewable energy and low-carbon transport solutions. APROBI represents key producers driving the national biofuel mandate, playing a critical role in reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering national greenhouse gas emissions.
