Permata received information from RSPO that a complaint has been lodged against PT. Permata Hijau Sawit (PHS) by Federasi Serikat Pekerja Metal Indonesia (FSPMI) on behalf of anonymous PHS workers.
9 Apr 2020
Permata launched an internal investigation to verify the veracity of the allegations.
27 Apr 2020
Permata, RSPO and FSPMI agreed to activate the bilateral engagement process.
8 Jun 2020
PHS and FSPMI conducted first bilateral meeting.
24 Jun 2020
PHS and FSPMI conducted second bilateral meeting and sign bilateral settlement agreement.
11 Aug 2020
RSPO officially closed the complaint against PT. PHS and the complaint is now in monitoring phase.
26 Aug 2020
Both parties reached a settlement, complaint is closed and transferred to Investigation and Monitoring Unit (IMU) for Monitoring.
7 Mar 2023
RSPO found Permata Group to be compliant in enforcing the action plan and the post complaints monitoring is formally closed.

Formally resolved; post-complaint monitoring closed as of March 2023.
